Mother Becky Bush Tea (Mother Becky) provides locally-grown, quality tea to the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis with plans to expand throughout the Caribbean. Situated on the island of St. Kitts within the Eastern Caribbean, Mother Becky is a small, local business aiming to revive the culturally traditional practice of drinking “bush” tea and provide a site-specific product for Kittitians, Nevisians and tourists to experience and purchase as souvenirs. We begun with the traditional basil “bush” tea, and has now expanded to include lemongrass, soursop, and mint varieties as demand affords. Mother Becky not only contributes to the St. Kitts and Nevis' economy, but also serves as a catalyst to embrace and revive the waning traditional practice of enjoying locally grown “bush” tea. Our whole leaf basil tea occupies a sparsely populated niche of uniquely Kittitian and Nevisian experiences and souvenirs available to tourists.
